As a wedding guest, what stands out to you the most at a wedding?

As guests, we are a big part of weddings (if we say so ourselves)! We’d love to know (from your real life experiences) what you’ve enjoyed the most as wedding guests! Ours potentially includes small chops

Good vibes, good people, good food, good drinks, booze for our drinking friends and most importantly good music. If the live band/dj ain’t spinning tunes we don’t want it. People wanna dance and have fun

For reception - Live band and DJ must be really good…they determine the mood of the party. Good food too but small chops is more important for me. I can do without a main meal as long as you have good small chops and drinks.

Good music. So a mix of a live band and a DJ. Mc’s that are genuinely funny and don’t have to resort to derogatory jokes to make people laugh. Good food. A blend of Nigerian food and continental food. A photo booth. And adequate space between each table.

A crowd controlled wedding. Bounce anyone that you didn’t invite, no gbogbo ero.

Get servers! It’s time we dead the habit of people hustling for jollof rice or having connect before getting food at parties.

Can your asoebi not look like LASTMA uniform?

If you are using a big hall, arrange for extended views for people who cannot see the couple from where they are seated.

Good food, especially finger foods. Good music/DJ always sets the tone. Seeing old friends/family, catching up/reunions basically the joy of seeing everyone having a good time.

Good food, good vibes, the visible and audible joy in the faces of family and friends, funny MC and last but not the least the beautiful ladies in their different dresses

Short version: Small chops and a good DJ

Long version: Good food. Love the whole menu thing with the varieties weddings started having pre-Covid. Not everyday jollof rice sometimes Singapore noodles and oyster sauce. Also, a fun MC that’s socially aware pls it’s 2020, feminists are reigning. Had a wedding where we had a dancing competition. It was lit. And of course the music, not really a live band person so a very good DJ that takes requests hehe

Definitely music and food! There needs to be good flow of alcohol too sha because that helps in getting the vibe just right. But music and entertainment is also key because we love to dance !

The combo of jollof rice and Chinese fried rice is what we call a balanced diet!
