I’m not married but might be able to help! Looking at wedding dresses has been become a past-time.
For me, it’s two things (1) what style will fit my body shape - ball gown, mermaid etc (2) what material do I prefer (and will also go well with the style I’ve chosen) - I know satin and lace are popular wedding fabrics
Pinterest is also a good way to find inspiration! I think once you see a few, you start to rule out what you don’t like and clearer on what you like.
